India, April 25 -- Two RAF Eurofighter Typhoons have been intercepted from a Romanian air base to engage Russian drones close to NATO airspace, although they did not fire or shoot any down. Two RAF Typhoons have been intercepted from a Romanian air base to engage Russian drones close to NATO air.
According to the Romanian official report, the Typhoons took off at 2 AM on Saturday in response to the drone threat. They also established radar contact on the targets and had authorisation to engage if required.
