India, July 7 -- Pune School Holiday Tomorrow (July 8, 2026): Heavy rain continues to affect Pune, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing an Orange Alert for the district on Tuesday. Several schools in seven talukas remained closed on July 7 due to the weather. At present, no district wide holiday for all schools and colleges in Pune has been announced for July 8. Any decision to suspend classes will depend on local weather conditions and fresh instructions issued by the district administration. During the monsoon season, district authorities may declare school holidays if heavy rainfall, flooding or transport disruptions pose a risk to students.
