India, July 9 -- Heavy rainfall in Pune continues to bash the city and parts of Maharashtra on July 9, causing waterlogging, traffic congestion and disruptions to transport services. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted intermittent moderate to very heavy rainfall today, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, promoting authorities to urge residents to remain cautions. Passengers travelling through Pune Airport on July 9 are advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport, as some services have been delayed and cancelled. While flight operations continue, schedule changes have impacted a few domestic departures. Airlines are monitoring operations and updating passengers about any changes.
