India, March 31 -- In a significant development during PSL 2026, Pakistan Super League franchise Lahore Qalandars has fined their star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi PKR 1 million. This decision came after an internal review of a security protocol breach at the team hotel on March 28.
The situation involves both Shaheen Shah Afridi and Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza, who are part of the Qalandars squad this season. Reports say that four visitors were initially not allowed to enter the players' floor. This was despite formal requests being made to security officials and the PCB.
