India, April 2 -- Sony has officially increased the retail price of its PS5 consoles across major global markets starting April 2, 2026, responding to rising component and manufacturing costs, a rare move in the lifecycle of a gaming console. The hike impacts both the PS5 Disc and Digital Editions, as well as higher‑end models like the PS5 Pro.
