India, Sept. 22 -- Sony Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for Prima Facie, the upcoming film adaptation of Suzie Miller's Olivier and Tony Award winning stage play. The movie stars Oscar nominated Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo as Tessa Ensler, a successful young barrister whose confidence in the legal system is shaken after she becomes the victim of a sexual assault.

Directed by Susanna White, the film takes the story from the stage to the big screen while retaining its central focus on justice, power and the experience of navigating the legal system from the other side.
