India, Sept. 22 -- Santa Monica Police Department responded to a report of a possible overdose at a rehabilitation facility on Berkeley Street at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, discovering Presley Gerber deceased inside the facility where he had been residing, according to new details from recordings obtained by PEOPLE.

Separately, according to a law enforcement source cited by NBC News, the twenty-seven-year-old model was found unresponsive and "cold to the touch" in the sleeping quarters he occupied at Resolutions Living of Santa Monica.

Gerber had checked into the facility at ten pm on Saturday evening, hours before authorities discovered him, suggesting he had likely been deceased for an extended period before his discovery.
