India, Nov. 3 -- Punjab Kings are reportedly making a major move ahead of the IPL 2027 season, with the franchise understood to be in advanced talks to bring Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya on board. The Ricky Ponting-led side is said to have made significant progress in negotiations, potentially setting up one of the biggest trades ahead of the upcoming season.

As part of the proposed deal, India pacer Arshdeep Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Vishnu Vinod could head to Mumbai Indians in exchange for Pandya. While the reported negotiations have generated considerable interest, the trade is yet to be officially confirmed by either franchise.
