India, May 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Italy on Tuesday for the final leg of his five-nation tour. PM Modi was received at the airport by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani. PM Modi wrote: "Landed in Rome, Italy. I will be meeting President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and holding discussions with them." The visit is expected to significantly boost India-Italy cooperation, with a particular focus on India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and reviewing the Joint Strategic Action Plan for 2025-2029.
