India, March 23 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not naming the US in his address and alleged that he is "100 per cent under the control" of President Donald Trump.
The Congress leader's remarks came after the Prime Minister's speech in Lok Sabha over the West Asia situation earlier in the day.
While addressing the Adivasi Adhikar Samvidhan Sammelan in Vadodara, the Congress MP from Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli said that Prime Minister Modi cannot debate in the parliament because "he is compromised".
"I've heard that the Prime Minister gave a 25-minute speech. But I guarantee he cannot participate in a debate in Parliament because he is compromised," he said...
