PM Modi Calls NEET Paper Leak A 'Grave Sin', Seeks Strictest Punishment For Accused
India, July 21 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday defended the Centre's handling of the NEET paper leak, saying the government acted immediately after the incident came to light. Addressing the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, he called the paper leak a "ghor paap" (grave sin), said 13 accused have been arrested and asserted that strict measures have been put in place to prevent such incidents. According to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, PM Modi also said the NEET re-examination and result declaration were completed without unnecessary delay.
