India, June 28 -- The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has issued an important advisory for people planning the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026 after receiving requests for help from Indian pilgrims stranded in Nepal. The Ministry of External Affairs said it received several requests for help from Indian citizens who were stranded in Nepal during the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. According to the ministry, these pilgrims had travelled through private tour operators but did not have the required China visa and entry permit, which are mandatory to complete the pilgrimage. The MEA has advised all pilgrims not to leave India until they have received all the necessary travel documents.
