India, Sept. 30 -- Peugeot has recalled 550 vehicles in Australia across four current-generation model lines over a software issue that may affect the operation of interior door handles. The recall covers vehicles produced between 2024 and 2025 and involves the Peugeot 308, 3008, 408 and 5008.

According to the recall information, the software fault could cause the interior door handles to deactivate unexpectedly while the engine is running. In certain circumstances, this could prevent occupants from opening one or more doors from inside the vehicle.
