India, April 2 -- President Donald Trump removed Attorney General Pam Bondi from her post on Thursday, a White House official confirmed, following months of mounting frustration over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigative files and her failure to move quickly enough to prosecute critics and political adversaries the president wanted charged. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche-Trump's former personal lawyer will lead the Justice Department in the interim.
