Pakistan Petrol Price Hike: Petrol Rises to Rs341.59, Diesel Hits Rs368.29 From August 22 - Check New Fuel Rates
India, Aug. 22 -- A fresh fuel-price increase will put another strain on motorists and businesses in Pakistan just days after the government's move to a daily pricing system. Petrol will become costlier by Rs3.81 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will rise by Rs3.59 per litre from Saturday, August 22.
The revised rates will remain in effect through August 24, according to a Petroleum Division notification. Petrol will sell at Rs341.59 per litre, up from Rs337.78, while HSD will cost Rs368.29 per litre, compared with Rs364.70 previously.
The latest move comes after another increase announced for August 21, when petrol rose by 27 paisas and diesel by Rs1.64.
