India, May 29 -- Pakistan and Australia will embark in the three-game ODI series as the preparations for the 2027 World Cup commence, with both teams looking to finetune their combination, 16 months before the mega event. The Men in Green have a full-strength squad, including Babar Azam, at their disposal but they will be looking to arrest their slide in ODIs, given they lost their last series to Bangladesh. By contrast, Australia are without plenty of their first-choice players, with Mitchell Marsh's absence further compounding their woes. Nevertheless, it presents the fringe players to press their case for a permanent place in the squad.
