India, Sept. 4 -- Artificial intelligence is moving from answering questions to actually carrying out tasks, and OpenAI's latest model is designed around that shift. On September 3, OpenAI introduced GPT-6 Astra, a new flagship model built to work across computers, software, coding environments, scientific tasks and professional workflows.

The launch marks a major change in how OpenAI wants its models to be used. Instead of simply generating instructions, Astra is designed to interact with websites and software, complete multi-step workflows, create documents and presentations, analyse information and help users solve complex technical problems.
