India, Sept. 18 -- Om Ka Hari review feels like a rerun of an old family tale. It starts with father and son at odds. Then the story keeps sidelining the women in the room. What could have been a quiet moment about making peace and facing death turns into something dull. The older man's anger takes up most of the frame. Harish Vyas directs it. The film uses wide scenic shots from Bhopal and Varanasi. It tries to bring out a deeper bond between a father and his son who are no longer close. But the movie seems stuck on the same beats. Instead of moving the story forward, it leans on heavy feelings that do not land. A good film is there, but it keeps getting buried under the mood.
