India, Sept. 30 -- Several banking, payment and personal finance rules are scheduled to change from October 2026. The changes cover SBI ATM transactions, bulk fixed deposit disclosures, UPI merchant payments, NPS charges and LPG subsidy eligibility.

While some changes will take effect from October 1, the revised UPI merchant payment rules are scheduled to begin from October 15.
