Following in the footsteps of the famous Connections game, the new version is designed to help players organize related words in four groups, from easiest to most difficult with millions of word puzzle lovers visiting the puzzle section of The New York Times on a daily basis, the Sports Edition has been conceived as a means of combining sports quizzes with logical puzzles. The July 15 puzzle (#660) was well balanced in terms of Olympic sports, famous sports arenas, football terms and wordplay.
