India, Oct. 28 -- Novak Djokovic will face Ugo Humbert in the first round of the Swiss Indoors Basel 2026 on Wednesday, October 28. The fourth seed received a wildcard for the event and will be looking to strengthen his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals in Turin.

Djokovic returns to Basel for the first time since 2011, having entered the tournament as the fourth seed through a wildcard. The 39-year-old Serbian won his seventh China Open title in Beijing earlier this month, taking his career tally to 102 tour-level titles. He subsequently lost to Hubert Hurkacz in the second round of the Shanghai Masters and will look to regain momentum in Switzerland.
