India, Sept. 20 -- A North American Aerospace Defense Command fighter jet intercepted a civilian aircraft on Saturday morning after it entered restricted airspace over Thurmont, Maryland, near Camp David, while US President Donald Trump was staying at the presidential retreat for the weekend. The intercept occurred at approximately 7:50 am ET, according to a statement from the 1st Air Force, the NORAD component responsible for air defence over the continental United States.
