India, April 13 -- A massive protest has disturbed Noida since Monday morning, triggering severe traffic chaos as hundreds of industrial workers blocked key roads in Phase 2, bringing movement to a near standstill and raising demands for a salary hike and timely payments.

The protest quickly escalated, leading to long vehicle queues, heavy police deployment, and diversions across major routes.

The disruption spread beyond industrial zones, impacting daily commuters, office-goers, and interstate traffic between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Authorities rushed to manage the situation, but congestion continued for hours.
