India, Sept. 16 -- The body of three-year-old Noah Woods, who vanished from a playground in Brantham, south Suffolk, has been discovered in Decoy Pond following an intensive search operation involving over 1,300 volunteers and specialist recovery teams.

The discovery brings an end to a desperate 24-hour hunt that gripped the Suffolk community and prompted one of the largest civilian mobilisation efforts in recent years for a missing child.

Noah became separated from a family member at around 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon while at a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, with specialist diving teams, fire and rescue services, and hundreds of volunteers ultimately confirming the tragic discovery in the afternoon.
