India, May 3 -- On the eve of vote counting for the West Bengal Assembly elections, Samik Bhattacharya, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP, spoke to the media, laying out his party's position on the post-election atmosphere, security preparedness, and its expectations regarding the outcome.
Bhattacharya characterized the recently concluded polling process as "largely peaceful and free," pointing out that only a handful of isolated incidents had occurred.
