India, April 5 -- The unexpected five-week break in the Formula 1 2026 calendar might feel like an eternity for fans, especially after three thrilling race weekends welcoming the new F1 engine era. With the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix cancelled due to safety concerns, and the last race held in Japan on March 29, the engines have gone silent for five weeks now. 

The next roar will come at the Miami Grand Prix in early May. But until then, April offers no race weekends on April 10-12 and April 17-19, leaving a rare pause in the season.
