NIA files charges against 3 CPI(Maoist) operatives in Andhra
India, May 31 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted three operatives of the banned CPI (Maoist) terror outfit in a case related to the supply of explosives and logistical support to Maoist cadres in Andhra Pradesh, officials said on Friday.
According to a press release by NIA, all three have been charged under various sections of the IPC, the Explosive Substances Act, and UA (P) Act in the first chargesheet in the case RC-12/2024/NIA/DLI, filed before the NIA special court in Visakhapatnam.
The chargesheet was filed before the NIA Special Court in Visakhapatnam in case RC-12/2024/NIA/DLI under various sections of the IPC, Explosive Substances Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act [UA(P)A].
