NHAI Hikes Toll Rates At Key Plazas In Punjab, Haryana: Check Revised Charges For Cars, Buses And Trucks
India, July 15 -- Travelling on several national highways in Punjab and Haryana has become costlier after the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) revised toll charges. The new rates have come into effect from July 15 and apply to several busy highway routes across the two states.
The revised toll rates have been implemented at eight major toll plazas located on some of the busiest highway corridors connecting cities such as Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Amritsar, Bathinda, Tarn Taran, Faridkot and Abohar. For most private vehicle owners, the increase ranges between Rs 5 and Rs 10, while buses and trucks will pay slightly higher revised charges depending on the route.
