India, Nov. 8 -- Las Vegas Raiders safety Jeremy Chinn has reportedly been fined $17,911 by the NFL for his hit on New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson during their Week 8 meeting. The incident occurred in the closing seconds of the Raiders' 38 to 33 victory on November 1, with Wilson subsequently entering concussion protocol and being ruled out of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The fine was reported by NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Chinn had already been penalised for unnecessary roughness during the game, but the NFL's postgame disciplinary process has brought an additional financial consequence.
