India, Nov. 6 -- Brandon Aiyuk's attempt to secure his exit from the San Francisco 49ers has encountered another financial complication, with the veteran wide receiver reportedly facing approximately $13 million in bonus forfeitures.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the NFL Management Council and the NFL Players Association are now involved in resolving the dispute, which could delay his release.

Aiyuk has filed paperwork seeking reinstatement and is scheduled to report to the 49ers' facility on Friday, November 6, at 3 PM PT. However, the reported repayment issue means his return to the facility may not immediately lead to a separation from the franchise.
