India, Oct. 6 -- Six of the 10 people injured when a car struck a crowd of Newcastle Knights supporters in Wallsend have been discharged from hospital. Four victims remain at John Hunter Hospital, with one in a serious but stable condition and three listed as stable.

The crash occurred on Saturday morning as thousands of fans gathered near Newcastle Link Road to farewell the Knights team bus before the NRL grand final.
