India, Aug. 27 -- Nepal School Holiday Today (August 27): As Nepal continues to deal with the aftermath of a devastating flash flood that swept through several areas near the Tibet border, schools and families are facing fresh uncertainty over normal activities on Thursday, August 27. The disaster has killed at least 157 people, left hundreds missing and severely damaged roads, bridges and other infrastructure, making movement difficult in several affected areas.
