India, Aug. 28 -- A barrier lake near the meeting point of the Chhochen Khola and Purepu Tsangpo rivers in Nepal has reportedly breached, triggering concerns about another surge of water into the Bhotekoshi River. Rasuwa Chief District Officer Narendra Pariyar said the Nepali Army informed him about the reported breach on Friday, according to The Kathmandu Post.
