India, March 6 -- The vote counting is in progress in Nepal after the country conducted its Federal Parliament Election 2082 (2026) on March 5. The election is of critical importance since it is the first election in the country after the youth-led protests in 2025, which led to the collapse of the former government. According to the election officials, close to 60% of the total electorate has exercised their right to vote in the election. However, it will take a few days to announce the final results since the votes are still being transported from the different regions.
