India, May 18 -- In the NEET paper leak case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) detained Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar in Maharashtra's Latur city on May 18, 2026. According to reports, his arrest comes after the questioning of PV Kulkarni, a Chemistry lecturer allegedly involved in the examination process on behalf of NTA who had access to the NEET question papers. Sources said the leaked question paper for NEET exam was found on Motegaonkar's phone during the searches conducted by the CBI in his coaching centre located in Shivnagar area.
