India, June 21 -- The re-NEET 2026 exam commenced at 2 PM today, June 21, amid tight security across India and abroad. More than 22.79 lakh candidates are expected to retake the MBBS entrance exam following the paper leak row that shook the nation. According to the NTA, the re-exam is being conducted under strict security measures including CCTV surveillance, jammers, and AI monitoring to ensure that no paper leaks occur at any examination centre.
