India, May 29 -- In a major development following the massive NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy, the Central Government is reportedly considering deploying the Indian armed forces to assist in conducting the NEET-UG re-examination. If approved, this would mark the first time in India's history that military resources are used to support the logistics and security of a national entrance examination.

According to multiple media reports, the proposal includes the possible use of Indian Air Force aircraft for the transportation of confidential question papers and secure coordination of examination material across states.
