India, July 29 -- Several important updates have been made by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to the NEET UG 2026 counselling process to increase the transparency, friendliness, and efficiency of this process. The new guidelines will be applied to the candidates involved in All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and are expected to minimise the travel and paperwork involved in the admission process.

No physical reporting for seat upgradation
