India, May 7 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET UG Result 2026 soon on its official website. The NEET UG 2026 examination took place on May 3, 2026, at various testing locations throughout India and other countries. More than 22 lakh students took part in this year's medical entrance examination, which has become one of the biggest undergraduate entrance examinations in Indian history.

As per the official statistics, around 2205035 students took the test from a total of 2275011 registered students, resulting in a 96.92% attendance across 37 states and union territories.
