India, May 25 -- It was a sad day for Australia's sports fraternity as legendary AFL (Australian Football League) player Neale Daniher passed away at the age of 65. Undergoing a battle with motor neurone disease (MND), Daniher passed away on Monday (May 25) after a statement from his family confirmed the news. While he was a renowned player, it was his work away from the field that made the difference, having set up the FightMND charity, which raised and invested 115 million into medical research to find a cure for MND.
