India, March 27 -- The Detroit Pistons stamped their authority in the Eastern Conference with a big 129- 108 win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday night. The Pistons had an easy time winning, but the Charlotte Hornets upset the New York Knicks 114 to 103 to end their seven-game winning streak, and the Orlando Magic narrowly defeated the Sacramento Kings 121 to 117 in a really high-scoring game. It was Jalen Duren's night as his big double-double and strong presence inside locked Detroit's position at the top of the standings by four and a half games.
