India, Sept. 2 -- The Nasdaq Composite opened slightly lower on Wednesday, September 2, as investors weighed higher oil prices, rising US Treasury yields and renewed US-Iran tensions. The technology-heavy index slipped 0.02% to 26,094.004, showing limited movement at the start of trading.

The Nasdaq had fallen 1.03% in the previous session, as investors turned cautious over higher energy prices, elevated bond yields and growing geopolitical uncertainty.

The Nasdaq Composite declined 5.8 points, or 0.02%, to 26,094.004 at the opening bell.
