India, July 5 -- The United States is locked in a fierce, head-to-head space race against China as both global superpowers accelerate timelines to land astronauts on the moon and establish a permanent geopolitical foothold on the lunar surface. Asserting that the competitive margins have narrowed to mere months, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman warned that Chinese aerospace capabilities far outmatch the historic challenge once posed by the Soviet Union.
