The Manipuri fighter defeated Indonesia's Thania Kusumaningtyas on points across two rounds to book her place in the gold-medal bout, guaranteeing at least a silver and matching India's best-ever Asian Games result in the sport.

Roshibina's run is even more remarkable given that she was not initially part of India's Asian Games squad.
