India, Sept. 27 -- India's Nandhini Kongan will line up in the women's 100m hurdles final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Sunday, September 27. Kongan booked her place in the medal race after finishing fourth in Heat 2 in 13.48 seconds. She missed out on one of the automatic qualification spots but advanced as the sixth-fastest non-automatic qualifier. Her qualification became even more significant after national record-holder Jyothi Yarraji did not start her heat, leaving Kongan as India's sole representative in the final.
