India, Aug. 17 -- Over six months since the disappearance of 84 year old Nancy Guthrie from her Tucson-area home, yet another round of criticism coming from within the Pima County Sheriff's Department threatens to further scrutinize the way the case has been handled.
In an interview with TMZ, Sergeant Aaron Cross, who is the president of the Pima County Deputies Organization, noted that the murder investigation was run by detectives that, according to him, lacked the required expertise. This story has gained national prominence due to surveillance footage, ransom communications and FBI involvement.
