India, Sept. 24 -- Netflix's My Sad Dead is a four-episode supernatural drama that takes a very different approach to the ghost story. Instead of building the series around jump scares and conventional horror, director Pablo Larrain uses the supernatural to explore grief, family relationships, violence and the lingering presence of people who have been forgotten.

The series is based on stories by Argentine writer Mariana Enriquez and stars Mercedes Moran in the lead role.
