India, July 4 -- Heavy rain continues to lash Maharashtra for the fourth straight day, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue red, orange and yellow alerts across several districts. The weather department has warned that heavy to very heavy rainfall will continue over the next 48 hours, especially in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad.
