India, Sept. 8 -- Monty Don is stepping down from BBC Gardeners' World after more than two decades with the popular gardening programme. The presenter, horticulturist and author has been a familiar face on British television since joining the show in 2003 and has become its longest-serving Head Gardener.

Over the years, Don has built a strong connection with viewers through his relaxed style and love for plants and nature. From 2011 onwards, he also brought audiences into his own garden, Longmeadow in Herefordshire, where he regularly shared his gardening experiences, seasonal advice and the challenges of maintaining a garden. His dogs have also become a much-loved part of his appearances on the programme.
