India, Sept. 4 -- The Mirzapur franchise has finally arrived on the big screen and the response at the box office suggests that the wait was worth it. Mirzapur: The Movie, starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Ravi Kishan, opened strongly on Friday, September 4.

According to Sacnilk data cited by The Indian Express, the film had already crossed the Rs 20 crore mark in gross collections by 7 pm on Day 1. The film recorded an estimated Rs 20.39 crore gross and Rs 17.28 crore net across 8,390 shows. The Hindi version contributed around Rs 17.18 crore, while the Telugu version added Rs 10 lakh.
